We Are WAM Engineering
Why WAM?
WAM Engineering isn’t just a name, it’s a legacy. The company takes its name from three important figures in founder Alistair’s life: his brother William, himself (Alistair), and his firstborn son, Mason. This personal connection reflects the core values of WAM Engineering – family, trust, and commitment. These principles drive everything we do, from delivering exceptional service to building lasting relationships with our clients. At WAM, we treat every project with the same care and dedication as we would for our own family.

Alistair Green
I first started working in Engineering when I served in the Royal Navy as a Weapons Engineer. After three deployments on different ships, I decided to finish in the Navy and leave the realm of weapons engineering behind. I am now focusing on a new kind of precision - the art of perfecting commercial catering systems. Thus, WAM Engineering Services was born.
Although a hectic schedule comes with looking after commercial catering equipment in my spare time I enjoy watching my son play for his local football team which WAM sponsors.

Kyle James
Kyle James offers a wealth of experience and a strong sense of community to his role at WAM Engineering. Having served in the Army, Kyle transitioned into the civilian sector, building his expertise within catering engineering companies before joining WAM as the Operations and Business Development Manager. His leadership and strategic insight are invaluable in driving WAM’s growth and ensuring operational excellence.
Outside of work, I am deeply committed to my community through my involvement with Army Cadets UK, where I play a key role in mentoring young people. I am also a familiar face at local military memorial days, honouring my service and supporting veterans.

Ben
Ben Jones brings a unique combination of discipline and expertise to WAM Engineering, shaped by his five years of service in the Army with the Royal Welsh Fusiliers. After leaving the military, Ben transitioned into the engineering field, where his background in installation and commercial gas allows him to provide the high standards of service WAM customers expect.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active at the gym and spending time outdoors, often exploring in my camper van.

Josh
I have a range of hobbies from going to the gym and playing Rugby. I've played since I was 6, playing for Hendy and now playing at their local rivals Pontarddulais in Division One.
I decided to get into the engineering industry after working in the DVLA for three years and realising that sitting down all day wasn't for me. I love how mobile this job is and all the different people we get to meet.

Neil
- Spent 4 years in the Army, based in Germany, driving armoured personnel vehicles and doing a 6-month tour in Northern Ireland. Learned discipline, teamwork, and how to work under pressure.
- Worked 10 years at Panasonic as a production technician, keeping machines running and helping improve the production process.
- Spent time at Hobart UK as a catering service engineer, fixing and servicing commercial kitchen equipment.
- Trained staff in Slovakia for 6 weeks on machine operations, passing on practical skills and knowledge.
- Hold COMCAT 1345 16th Edition qualifications, plus several other technical training courses.
Company Values
To build and establish long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients utilising the director’s military core values. These are COURAGE, DISCIPLINE, RESPECT, INTEGRITY, LOYALTY & SELFLESS COMMITMENT.
To be there for the customer when they are in need and to give them confidence in their equipment. Then if it breaks down give the client the commitment that we will be there for them. Furthermore, we will do our utmost to get them back up and serviceable as soon as possible.
