Catering Engineer Swansea
About Us
We Are WAM Engineering
After working years as a catering engineer in Swansea Alistair started WAM Engineering Services to collaborate with and assist local independent businesses. He takes pride in offering a dependable service as well as high-quality repairs and catering equipment servicing in Swansea at a reasonable cost.
You might be surprised to hear that even with clients like Burger King, The Ivy, Brew Stone and many more the company is still in its first couple of years. This is because, despite the company’s infancy, Alistair himself has more than 13 years of engineering experience. Most of this time has been spent serving in the Royal Navy as a Weapons Engineer. Then following his departure from the service he has worked as a catering and refrigeration engineer ever since.
With a wide knowledge of the industry from catering equipment servicing, commercial oven repairs and commercial appliance repairs including glass washers, ice machines, dishwashers, fryers and anything else you may find in a commercial kitchen we provide a service that you can trust.
WAM Engineering is here to help, whether you own a large franchise or a small independent business.
Alistair Green
I first started working in Engineering when I served in the Royal Navy as a Weapons Engineer. After three deployments on different ships, I decided to finish in the Navy and leave the realm of weapons engineering behind. I am now focusing on a new kind of precision - the art of perfecting commercial catering systems. Thus, WAM Engineering Services was born.
Although a hectic schedule comes with looking after commercial catering equipment in my spare time I enjoy watching my son play for his local football team which WAM sponsors.

I have a range of hobbies from going to the gym and playing Rugby. I've played since I was 6, playing for Hendy and now playing at their local rivals Pontarddulais in Division One.
I decided to get into the engineering industry after working in the DVLA for three years and realising that sitting down all day wasn't for me. I love how mobile this job is and all the different people we get to meet.
